This device works extremely well at its intended purpose: to charge a spare battery Samsung Galaxy S 1500mA Standard Battery for Samsung, Vibrant,Epic, Captivate, Focus. I've used this type of charger many times before, and it seems to be on par with the others. Maybe it's slower than chargers that plug into your physical phone, but this charger allows you to swap your spent battery with one that's charged up and go back to work, while a corded charger ties you down. Great for people who rarely put their phones down and cannot afford to lose the availability of the phone for a couple of hours.
