Cute and Smart with Great Mouth-feel...
By
Carter Hooper (New Orleans, LA) -
I bought this thinking I would play with it for a week and have totally been smitten enough to ditch my HD2 running Froyo. I had heard really negative things about the screen, but really it's fine. Even live wallpapers work well. The form is amazing and the lagniappe battery you get is super cool. My only small qualm is the alternate characters on the keys are a bit hard to read, almost impossible in the dark, though the keyboard is (somewhat) backlit. I'm in love. Er...at least until the first cool Windows Phone 7 comes out...

Like it!
By
Pinkeee -
Coming from a Pixi on Sprint, so this is an upgrade for me. Personally, I love this phone. Add Advanced Task Killer to get rid of things running in the background and save battery. Add Home Switcher and Launcher Pro to get all kinds of great things, including getting rid of that D Sprint ID button and landscape on home page, etc. Sprint ID is pretty lame, but I can see some reasons for it, such as having work ID and personal ID.

I have to have slider keyboard and I actually have small hands. Works great for me. Can't type on a screen- too many mistakes.

According to Sprint, they will be updating to 2.2 Android before end of year. Hopefully that'll add more punch to the phone.

Great Phone with KeyboardMarch 13, 2011
By
yasho -
This is my third Android phone. I was frustrated by a touch screen keyboard. So, I skipped myTouch 4G. I did not like the G2's loose keyboard (if you hold G2 upside down, the keyboard pops out). And Cliq 2's price was very good. So, I chose this one.

Because of not so good reviews here, I was skeptic about this one. But, about a month of use, I found this is a great phone. It is a stable and the keyboard is very easy to type. A dedicated camera button and a zoom key is very handy. Picture quality is acceptable for a daily use.

Only minus point is a bit bulkier than I like (Still lighter than G2 though).

MOTOBLUR give me a good customization (Need to tweak a bit to get its full potential). I was bored with HTC's or plain Android home screen. MOTOBLUR gives me a flesh experience of using Android.

please bring to t-mobile
By
jg311 (Boston, MA USA) -
if anyone is listening at Motorola :)

This looks to be the perfect size phone to me. I'm an android user on t-mobile and I definitely like the 2.2 froyo release on MyTouch.

Moto: Please continue your innovation of android phones and claim the niche of smaller phones.

I'm eligible for an upgrade but all the monster sized phones are ridiculous. I almost bought the moto defy on t-mobile but it was still a little to large and if possible I wanted froyo or greater.

Thanks for the very informative review. I would almost consider att but I hear they restrict you to their app store versus the android market.

Great Phone and Super Web Browser
By
Scrabble Fan "Scrabble fan" (Missouri) -
I'm in the senior citizen category and bought this phone for its large screen size. I've been using it 4 months and I love it! It's user-friendly, intuitive, easy to use right out of the box. It found and linked to my wi-fi when I put in the password. I've used it on vacation in another city and, among the 14 of us with phones, mine was the best and fastest at pulling up phone/email contacts, calling, or going online to find nearby shops and attractions, or getting directions using Google Maps. I've recently been trying to help a friend use her new iPhone and find the iPhone difficult to navigate and way too small to really function as a browser. I'm so glad I bought the Streak.

Just WorksMarch 22, 2011
By
R. Barth "SittingDuck" (UT USA) -
I've been using EasyTether for over a year now. Even after 2.1 come out which allowed you to tether, because with Verizon you have pay a monthly fee to use the built in tethering.

For those who say you're stupid to use this because you can just root your phone... that might be fine for you, but some of us don't want to recommend to a family\friend who might not be that tech savvy that they root their phone simply to be able to tether. To me, $10 is worth the hassle to NOT have to root your phone.

Find the clues.
By
Customer -
Plays great on my Samsung Galaxy Tab, sounds and graphics look really good and the controls are easy to use. Comes out of the Myst genre, you have to get items and solve puzzles as you go. Not sure how much I've solved, haven't figured out the globe, clock, falcons, and secret hallway. Have to keep at it, curiosity makes me want to solve this.

Surprisingly Awesome!
By
Matthew Ebersviller (Pelican Rapids, MN USA) -
So I had played an online game like this a few years ago, and that was fun, but a bit too annoying with it. This game, however, is just awesome! It really does start out pretty easy, but progresses into using some serious thinking in pretty short order.

I'm sure there will be people who praise this game for helping to keep their brain sharp or whatever, but honestly, this game is just fun. I don't buy very many apps for my phone, but I bought this one, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

Best airport game for any platform
By
Armando Vega -
I have tried many airport games, from realistic (a.k.a boring) traffic control sims to very bad goofy ones. This game provide all the basics of real time airport traffic control in an easy way, with a great comic take. Its like playing mario bros but with airplanes. I am a fellow app developer and my hat is off to this app, just great!

Fun and Addicting
By
Tim Po -
This game is fast paced and addicting. The game interface is simple, but it becomes very challenging fast to get high scores on each level. The resolution is not an issue on mobiles. I have a 4.3 inch screen, DroidX, and the game looks great. There is a free version if you would like to try it out the demo first, but it won't be long before you shell out the dollar for the full game.

For $340, this is THE way to go !March 15, 2011
By
Luc Leroy -
I bought one for my dad after I had tried a couple tablets including the iPad in different stores.
The Archos was the only one in this price range that offered good CPU, decent GPU and nice screen with acceptable quality.

You can read here and there some criticism about the finishing of this device, such as cheap plastic etc. However I find it much stiffer than most competitors. It actually feels solid compared to the Samsung ones for instance. It's much lighter than the iPad 2, costs less.

I am a beautiful person.
By
J. Smith (Toronto, Canada) -
This app is fantastic. It replaced Swype for me, which I though no keyboard would ever do. The title of my review is a joke that revolves around Swiftkey's predictive system. As you type messages, it will learn the normal progression of your words and sentences, and begin to predict words before you type them. After a couple of weeks of using it, things you say often won't need more than a few taps of the spacebar before you hit "Send." Every once in a while, I experience a bit of lag when the keyboard starts, but this is rare and worth it. It is always improving and the developers are personable (they've replied politely to e-mails I have sent). Highly recommended!

Best Keyboard Replacer
By
Joshua Caleb "Writer Extraordinaire" -
the layout and prediction engine on this are absolutely amazing. there are many times when I can write a whole text/tweet by simply pressing a few buttons since it already knows what I'm going to say. (or maybe I'm just too predictable;) It can even remember the last message you typed so for some reason you mess up or want to send a message twice, just keep tapping one of the three prediction boxes and chances are it will be able to recreate your message verbatim. There are also lots of customization options regarding the auto-complete and autocorrect features.
So hands down the best keyboard out there. Better than Swype and the gingerbread stock keyboard.

Finally a decent Android RTS
By
L. Paseornek (Las Vegas, NV USA) -
Given that this game was from the old C&C guys I gave it a shot. So far it's funny, and the game play is far above what I've seen in other Android games. When our top games have been angry birds and gem miner it's pretty clear we lack strong titles (sorry angry bird fans!). It's a Turn Based game and will soon have multiplayer allowing android players to game with iphone friends. So for the amount of hours of fun for 99c.. how can you go wrong? Enjoy!

Very addictive - visually attractive
By
J. Smith (Toronto, Canada) -
I first played this game on iOS and was excited to see it come to Android. I was afraid it would lack the polish of the iOS version, but I was not let down! It is a beautifully made app that somehow finds a way to sneak replay value into the repetitive action of slicing fruit. Feint achievements, things to unlock, and different game modes make this a winner. Try using multitouch and use two swords for extra fun (although I didn't find it to be that helpful toward my score).

The graphics is on this game are pretty good. Never had to deal with any lagging. But then I am playing on a Gtablet which has a dual core Nvidia Tegra processor. Great to keep you occupied when you are bored. One note of caution... it is very addictive.
