Great Phone and Super Web Browser
By
Scrabble Fan "Scrabble fan" (Missouri) -
I'm in the senior citizen category and bought this phone for its large screen size. I've been using it 4 months and I love it! It's user-friendly, intuitive, easy to use right out of the box. It found and linked to my wi-fi when I put in the password. I've used it on vacation in another city and, among the 14 of us with phones, mine was the best and fastest at pulling up phone/email contacts, calling, or going online to find nearby shops and attractions, or getting directions using Google Maps. I've recently been trying to help a friend use her new iPhone and find the iPhone difficult to navigate and way too small to really function as a browser. I'm so glad I bought the Streak.

Good Ole Big - or - Big Ole Good
By
Robert E. Czeizinger "The CIZE" (Greenwood, DE USA) -
I've been using this for about a month now. I got tired of waiting for the Dell/AT&T upgrade and took matters into my own hands and upgraded to O2's 2.1, then to DJ_Steve's 2.2. 2.2 didn't work for me, the Baseband was missing so the cell services didn't work. I went back to 2.1.

I love the phone. At first I thought it was too big, but frankly, after using it for just a week, I realized I could never go back to my iPhone. The screen is just too small. The Dell hardware is awesome. Plus I think Android is where it's at... I don't need Steve Jobs telling me what is allowable on my phone. Anyway, back to the size, it fits in my pocket and is not noticeable. At first I felt a little self-conscious pulling the thing out of my pocket to make or receive calls, but now I just don't care. Plus I surveyed my friends and once they got over their jealousy of my awesome phone, they quit making fun of me, LOL.

The screen and quality of the hardware is excellent. I had been an iPhone user ever since they first came out, but I'm sold now on Android and frankly, the 5 inch screen. I realize this phone won't be for everybody, but those of you who are tech savvy and want to exercise a little more control over your phone experience will love this phone over IOS and those of you who want/need a bigger screen...well you can't do better than this.
